An Islamophobic pastor in Florida is playing with fire once again. Terry Jones, who sparked international outrage in 2010 when he vowed to burn copies of the Koran, ignited copies of the Islamic holy book outside his Dove World Outreach Center Saturday night, according to the Gainsville Sun. The pastor — who once promised he would “not ever” burn a Koran — also burned an image depicting the prophet Muhammad, the newspaper reported.

G. Dep Convicted Of Murder In 1993 Shooting

Another former Bad Boy Records MC is going to be spending years in the clink. Today, Harlem rapper G. Dep was convicted of murder. The "Let's Get It" rapper will be facing 15 years to life when he is sentenced on May 8th.

G. Dep, born Trevell Coleman, found himself in this predicament after confessing in late 2010 to a 1993 shooting that previously had gone unsolved. While the rapper was unaware of his victim's fate, unfortunately the man (John Henkel) he admitted to shooting during a robbery had died. The defense suggested authorities were mistaken as to which robbery Dep committed, but the jury obviously wasn't convinced.

"He has a conscience and a heart, and his conscience and his heart brought him to where he is today," Dep's lawyer, Anthony Ricco, told the court. "He's probably making the most powerful statement a rapper of his era can make, which is to be accountable and to do the right thing."

James Ibori sentenced to 13 years in prison.

James Ibori, former governor of Delta state has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for corruption and money laundering charges at the Southwark Crown Court 9 in London.

His sentence was announced at about 3.20pm today by Judge Anthony Pitts.

Sentencing In Beanie Sigel Tax Fraud Case Postponed

Beanie Sigel may be making a comeback in music, following recent news of a record deal with EMI and a joint project with Scarface. However, things may have to be put on hold, because he's got some prison time coming up.

The rapper (real name: Dwight Grant) was scheduled to be sentenced last November, but then, it was pushed to Thursday (April 12). However, Sigel's sentencing as been postponed.

During a hearing on Thursday, Beans' sentencing on federal tax charges were pushed to July 12, 212.

His defense attorneys told U.S. District Judge Jan DuBois, that their client hadn't supplied the financial information requested by a probation officer, and had not allowed a home visit by the officer.

So, for now, he has some time. However, Sigel has until April 26 to surrender additional financial documents in a bid to solve the dispute.

Sigel pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges last August, for failing to pay taxes on earnings between 2003 to 2005.

He could face up to three years in prison, if convicted.

Argentina's "Miracle Baby" takes turn for the worse

A baby declared stillborn and then later found alive by her parents at a morgue in Argentina was in critical condition on Friday after taking a turn for the worse overnight, a hospital official said.

Doctors told Analia Bouter that her baby was stillborn when she gave birth in Argentina's northern Chaco province at the start of the month.

Florida woman arrested while pooping on highway

The Florida Highway Patrol said a woman spotted defecating next to a car on Interstate 95 was arrested on charges including vehicle theft.

Investigators said a trooper spotted a woman squatting next to a stopped vehicle with her pants down April 7 on northbound Interstate 95, just 6 miles south of the St. Lucie County Rest Area, and asked the woman what she was doing.

The woman, who gave her name as Mellisa Mansfield, 31, told the trooper she was going to the bathroom. Mansfield told the trooper she did not have her driver's license with her and investigators determined she was driving without a license.

The highway patrol said they also discovered the vehicle the woman was using had been reported stolen from Key West.

Mansfield was arrested on charges including indecent exposure, vehicle theft and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
