"Austin Powers" actor and former mixed martial arts fighter Joseph Hyungmin Son was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the 1990 gang rape of a 20-year old woman.
Son, 40, was convicted in August torture in the Christmas Eve attack on anOrange County woman.
The 20-year-old victim was walking her dog and looking at Christmas lights when she was abducted.
Friday, a Judge sentenced Son to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
He was initially charged with multiple sexual assault charges and faced a maximum sentence of 275 years to life in prison.
But, many of those charges were dropped because the statute of limitations had expired.
The case was cold for nearly a decade, until 2008 when DNA linked Son to the crime.
Son, along with a second suspect, was accused of dragging the victim into the back of a car, pistol whipping her and threatening her life at gun point while he counted the bullets in his gun and raped her repeatedly, according to prosecutors.
He was also accused of sexually penetrating the victim with his firearm before she was released naked with her pants tied around her eyes in Compton.
A co-defendant in the case pleaded guilty to rape, kidnapping and other charges, and was sentenced to 17 years in and four months in prison.
Son played the role of Dr. Evil's handyman,"Random Task," a shoe-throwing villain in Mike Meyer's 1997 blockbuster film "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery."
