At the just concluded “Nokia Don’t Break The Beat Competition” where rapper Mode9 was a judge (alongside DJ Jimmy Jatt and Rogba Knighthouse) and ex-beauty queen turned rapper Muna was the presenter, both parties clashed and had a heated argument right in front of fans, contestants, organizers and cameras broadcasting to millions of viewers
Mode 9, who is known for his hard core rap and lyrics which has got him winning the HHW lyricist more than once, was the chief judge of the competition. After giving his opinion on one of the freestyle battles, Muna (who need I remind you was the show’s presenter and shouldn’t even express her opinion, and let’s not forget has only been rapping for two minutes) didn’t agree with Mode and took him to task on this. Very unprofessional... Considering also, that he is her senior in all ramifications, that was very disrespectful of her.
She repeatedly said to Mode 9 “Pass the mic, pass the mic, pass the mic mehn”.
